Hi Rachel,

You are definitely on the right spot here and you are very welcome.
I have been in a mental hospital myself. I think the symptoms you describe
seem like K-symptoms, but I have experienced other ones, so I cannot tell
you much about them. There are different people on this list with a lot of
expertise on this, who can tell you more about them.
Internet saved me too, I found real understanding here of my K-experiences.
It's not too heavy for here, this is where you can write about these things,
so please do!
