Don't underestimate the feeling of loneliness - it has two components.
One could be called "selfish", the other is a disguise for
the wish to serve - which forms the basis for both family life and society.

Why not? When there is no or a small "selfish" component,
it can be both rewarding and stimulating for "inner growth".
