 Of course you are afraid! We are programmed to resist anything new before
we understand our survival is not threatened. Let yourself be afraid and
don't judge yourself for it. I've found it very helpful, especially in the
beginning, to remember that the energy is divine and intelligent, and to feel
it as mothering (Shakti, Shekinah). This way I could be in a personal
relationship with Her which helped me to surrender -- feeling fear and love
at the same time, I might add.
 
 Kundalini demands everything we've got, true, but how amazingly blessed we
are to know something of Her! Love, Holly
