I am wondering if this is Kundalini or not? From what I have read it starts
from the base of the spine and moves up. For me it starts at the top of my
head (crown) and goes through my body and out the feet and hands. It feels
like electricity or an energy vibration. I also have been getting "hot
flashes" several times a day. This energy has been increasing so I am
getting concerned. The more concerned I get the more fears are coming up.
I
guess I need encouragement. I am alittle afraid which I realize fear is the
opposite of love. Help!

This seems like normal Kundalini awakening or a preface to it with
electrical and energy vibrations. For most people it first goes up from the
base of the spine and then later on starts to come down from the top of the
head to rest of the body. But there are no universal rules. In some
traditions, the lower centers are bypassed and the activity is initiated
directly in the third eye first. Knowing the age of the person, the
spiritual background, and the spiritual practices being engaged in, is
helpful. You can seek a spiritual center in your area where the people are
familiar with the phenomena.

There is substantial literature on the topic as well. It may be helpful to
understand Kundalini experiences within an overall philosophical and
practical context. I would recommend the teachings of Ramana Maharshi.
