Why the conflict between Chistian & Pegan?

I been stopping at a Cathlic church, looks like the
two religions seem very similar to me,

I sure it has been repeated many times Christ did not come for
just the Jews, but for the whole world

Is there not a stautue of the Goddess some call Holy Mary
and her mortal son

seems like this is corner-stone of both religions

or so it seems to me
