Based on my current changes and reality, assigning meaning to games and
contests, I gravitate to "illusion." With that in mind I say:
I want to be here without the games and contests... I want to be here
in that delicious space of
dying to beauty, serve my highest self and touch the hearts I am here
to touch...This is how I
want to Live moment to moment.
Not so long ago I showed up on the list "on the spin cycle"...many
washing machine references seem to be made here :) I asked myself for
change and as it continued in spinning fashion, I sought "a home,"
friends--family of like mind. Following what was before me, I simply ended
up here <g>. Though the spin cycle finally transgressed into a cooling
rinse, I continue to move energy higher and this reflects on the physical as
change. (I love that I have a place of freedom and playfulness to say these
words--my "daily" life is filled with mainstream business talk and a fair
amount of "rational, logical, mechanical thinking/words and people :)
Jonathan, I appreciate your posts. As I read them, there is coincidence
I have yet to be able to express in words. When clarity is mine, I will
write more.
If you feel like it, I'd like to understand your meaning of the words
games and contests.

The laws of nature dictate the flow of what we
normally perceive. This being mass effected by
gravity, preservation of energy, and so on. Per these
laws the cause of something occurs before the effect
it has. Between cause and effect there is the transfer
of energy across space and through time. These laws
guarantee a line of coherence, where we can see "why"
things happen. Without an answer to "why" we are
totally at a loss. Doesn't have to be the right
answer, but an answer is a pre-condition for sanity
(albeit often blind sanity) and continued life. The
window breaks because of the stone that hit it. The
stone flew because of the arm that tossed it. The arm
moved because of the chemical energy that released in
the muscles of the girl who threw it. Per such
reasoning, all that happens is caused by "the past".
The past being unchangeable, this makes us puppets of
destiny, part of a story that has to take place the
way an old watch has to run down. If one changes the
laws, everything falls apart, nothing makes sense any
more. The laws of nature, per this view, are abstract
imperatives, they exist everywhere whether or not they
are realized, just as the rules of grammar exist
before you have anything to say. Once you speak, the
only way to guarantee coherence to someone who speaks
the same language is by following the same rules. We
are all subject to the same rules, whether we know
them or not. Awakening, is for me becoming aware that
the whole set of rules are far different than the Laws
of Nature that Science is so fond of trying to define.
Awakening means to realize that cause and effect are
the same, but since we need "a story" to fill up the
infinity of space and time, lets play me as cause and
you as effect. Next time lets reverse it-karma. Fun
isn't it?
Ouch.
Having a tendency to romanticize everything in life,
excuse me if my words now are dry and "mental". I am
compensating and looking for balance. But the universe
is so pregnant with life... becoming so many different
things, under so many different conditions. Life the
singularity experiencing so many different stories on
so many levels of "here and there".. And it is all so
fucking (pun intended for those who know why it is
"fucking beautiful") beautiful, our minds cannot
contain this vision for any length of time, in this
dimension. To do so is to die, for seeing this vision
and being a witness to it, erases one's "self", one
becomes one, and wishes for nothing but everything all
at once. It would be like listening to all the music
on a cd in one instant. pop. confusion. oblivion.
Ugliness is like the lead poles in a nuclear reactor,
it slows things down, makes it possible to linger in
time and enjoy the sights.
To awaken is to know that one will die of beauty. So
to stay alive we invite all sorts of games and
contests into our space, to keep us here for those we
are intended to serve.
