For the past three weeks, I have had white patches of various shapes
on my left tonsil. Yesterday I noticed a lesion, so, for the second
time in two weeks, I returned to the doctor's office to have it
checked. I had my second negative strep test. And my second round
of "let's just watch it".

Now, in addition to this, I also received a little lecture on birth
control and how condoms, my non-chemical birth control of choice,
aren't 100%. He chose to continue this lecture despite my telling him
that I was quite aware of the percentages and preferred not to take
in outside hormones, implant hormones, insert sponges, or have metal
objects implanted in my uterus. The doctor made some comment
about "if you aren't in a monogamous relationship..."... my wedding
band, circling the ring finger of my left hand, which was holding up
my head, was inches from my eyes. Now, how someone can make eye
contact and not see a wedding band within 6 inches is beyond me. Oh,
and what does birth control have to do with a throat lesion?

There is more, but why go on?

Can't believe I spent money for this... grr.
