Hillary,
Just prior to my awareness of K-awakening, and while I was going through
a sort of "bad patch" (depression over my situation with an employer, I
ended up walking out of a job that I had really loved but had a
supervisor who went from friend to enemy in the time I was there)...
I had several significant and vivid dreams with beasties in them.
First was a dream with a large black wolf. Not menacing, powerful but
beautiful, masculine energy.
Next was a dream of transformation, summarized it seemed like a nuclear
apocalypse or space invasion a-la War of the Worlds was taking
place...my sister, brother and myself (3 oldest of 5 children) were in a
farmhouse that was familiar to me, possibly from my youth...this
invasion/whatever was taking place around us, we saw flashes that at
first looked like lightning but were explosions. The WotW "tripods" were
out walking the countryside, we went out and headed north up a dirt road
behind our farmhouse and saw nuclear cooling towers silhouetted against
the horizon... the explosions were from creatures that had burrowed into
the ground, leaving hills... as we walked, we could see the creatures,
snakelike, glowing golden, in their mounds... At some time in the dream
we transformed and were wearing rainbow striped (aha, chakras?) overalls...
Third dream was another epic proportion dream, also involving three
people, my oldest sister (I'm the oldest child in the family), my
husband, and myself. We were in a seaside village, conducting a historic
ceremony. My husband and I were playing the parts of the
priestess/priest, and my sister was somehow assisting us. We were in the
town square near the seafront, and as we progressed through the
ceremony, there was a stirring in the bay to our South...a sea serpent
was rising from the sea...the village people took this all seriously and
were calling us evil, but we knew it was not evil. The serpent was
enormous and only a small bit of it emerged at that time... a massive creature.
These were the most significant...but my "wonder dog" Aero (who I joke
is my familiar, but we have a deep connection) shows up in many of my
dreams as well, but in a more "mundane" sense.
Ah, yes, there were the creepy-crawlies dreams too...
In one, I was in a ramshackle house with an actor husband, the house
literally had holes in the boarded up brick and board walls, used to be
a store of some kind (there was advertising painting on the outer brick
wall). There were HUGE cockroaches (2 ft. long +) inside the walls, I
knew something needed to be done, the actor hubby just ignored it...
(heh)
...and some spider dreams...(I'm afraid of spiders and dislike roaches intensely)
