Subject: [K-list] no more yoga

Something is going on in my body to prevent me from doing yoga.
Until a few weeks ago, I had been practicing kundalini 1 - 1 1/2 hours a
day on my own and 2x a week through classes. I had also been attending an
upper level hatha class 1x a week.
After attending a White Tantric event a few weeks ago (ironically,
something that usually motivates people to enhance their practice), I found
that I had lost all motivation to do kundalini on my own... and when I did
manage to do the yoga, it would immediately and completely exhaust me. Even
finishing the set would take enormous effort... like moving through
gelatin. Getting through the kundalini classes I continued to attend was
monumental... and driving home became quite dangerous.
Now, I am growing alarmed that practicing hatha yoga is also out of the
question... as I can't seem to make it halfway through without crying. This
has happened at every single class. Concentrating on breathing while you
have tears streaming down your face (plus all of the other liquid
accompaniments) is almost out of the question. Another alarming
realization: the poses that were once simple are incredibly difficult...
holding them sets me into vibrating seizure.
Has anyone else had this experience? Is it permanent?
Nina
