Well - i read Chris's post that said no one who has posted in the last month
should post - and i thought inviting others to post - i did not know that a
lurker was one who has never posted to a list, only someone who for the
preceding time was not posting - I have seen list members come out of
lurking, post and go back into lurking all of the time. And i have done this
as well or at least that is what i thought i was doing. But i appreciate
being given the chance to consider myself a lurker - although i would have
followed the defining rules if i had known about them. We need some
definitions.
Perhaps someone who has never posted, is a virgin lurker, and then there are
the virgin lurker newbies who are not really considered lurkers since they
have not been sitting on the side lines long enough to be considered
anything other than new list members - and first time posters are newbies,
ah this is just too much for me -
A person who has posted in the past and stops posting for an extended period
of time is a former poster - ex-lurker, second string bench sitter, former
regular, need something catchy - maybe bench-warmer, no - oh they are
just s#&*
so i should apologize for posting in lurker week - when i was really not a
lurker at all - just a $%# @f ***** :)
wow that felt good-
Lew
(well at least i snip my posts - so i follow some of the rules)
