I had such a father. The one and only person in my life who could love us
unconditionally. He left us a great secret and yet not a secret. When he
died (I was twelve and the oldest of three) he opened his eyes one more
time. My Mother thought he had already died but he smiled in an angelic way
and wispered to her

"if you knew how simple it is"

and died smiling. Love him forever.
