Subject: Re: [K-list] Passing Judgement
From: Kimberly Burlison
On 2001/03/25 10:11, Kimberly Burlison posted thus to the K-list: When I first started surfing the net, a wise old gentleman caught me trying to control (manipulate) someone into changing their behavior. He told me something that took me 2 years to begin to apply...you cannot change another's behavior, but you can change your reaction to it.
Why not simply stop responding? The old play dead routine? Worked with Angelique sometimes when I was dead set on keeping my head in the sand. ;)
Still shaking out the sand...

Didn't work in this case, obviously.
I think you forgot to refer to Simon as being unneccessarily abusive, not just what you
judge as my "victimhood". Which is what I must insist upon as "self-defense". When someone
is kicking someone, are they a victim if they do not allow it?
Please do not refer to me in this "victimhood" idea of yours anymore, or use me as your
example as such.
And, why not test yourself by NOT feeling like you have to react and post anything back?
I'd just as soon not continue this discussion, except that I am tired of being told that I
have a "victim complex" over and over, publicly.
thankyou in advance,
