From: sheidi
On 2001/03/24 20:24, sheidi posted thus to the K-list: Moss, oh yeah! Always feel guilty when I leave it crushed. And tree
hugging, you bet. Last month when I spent two weeks in the woods I had a
hankering of leaning my back against this old, majestic pine. First it was
just to rest from the walks I took with the dog. Suddenly it began to feel
like I was being held. Held by a loved one and feeling a security I have
not felt since I was 12 years old.
Another time when I was in emotonal distress I walked behind the nearest
tree which was an oak and leaned my face against it. Within seconds this
tree got from me all my tears which would not come in all the months I had
been suffering. It seemed to take forever to cry myself dry but when it was
over I felt cleansed all over. How I wish I lived in the woods forever.....
