Hello Norma,
If I may jump in here, I wouldn't call her statement "judgmental."
Personally, I'm glad Mystress expresses herself the way she does.
This this is not a place where we just theorize. This has indeed been a
sanctuary for me and many others. On one level, K has made me tougher
than I ever was... on another level it has made me very sensitive. The
month following my opening, I was overwhelmed to the point of psychosis
and would occasionally burst out in tears with a feeling of loneliness.
I felt like an alien on my own planet and nobody had a clue as to what
language I was speaking.
Finding this list was tremendous blessing. I'm very grounded these
days, but I'll never forget the sensitivity of those early months.
Throughout the Simon and Fiona's Mother threads, Mystress, Wim and
other's here spoke volumes for me. I would have jumped in myself, but it
was all a bit too much for me.
Yes, I think Mystress' comments were beneficial and no, I don't think
they were judgmental. They were reasonable and reassuring to some of us
"sensitive" types that the atmosphere of this list will remain that of a
garden (not a stomping ground) even if that takes getting tough
occasionally and telling it like it is.
