Thank you for calling this for what it is.
I am new to this group. Thus I had no idea that the conversation between
Fiona and Christopher had been going on as it currently is for several
years. (I also was off line for several weeks with out of state family)
I thought is was a mental excerise of new dimension of very old material
that most of us usually work through by the age of 35.
I can't imaging anyone wanting to hang on to this kind of thinking, when a
year or two with a really good therapist would put an end to it. I
literally know thousands of very wounded people who have moved way past
these issues living lives of true joy and bliss today.
I choose to spend my time with them.
Again Susan, thank you.
To Fiona and Christopher, I honor your need to keep going in the direction
you have chosen. Of course I would hope for all who keep digging this hole
deeper to know that there is a different way to use your shovel, but my days
of teaching people how to do that are long over. Besides, you seem to
really enjoy the mental excise of it all.
So as I honor your path I agree to disagree. Blessings to you.

There is always a choice, even if a small choice, always a choice.
There are some on this list who know of my past and how I sufferred.
I rarely talk about it unless it is drawn out of me. But that is so
far away it seems like I am a totally different person now. And I am.
If I wanted to, I would have just as much right to claim how my
maternal line made people suffer horrendously.
