As one trained and qualified in both Transpersonal and Behavioural
Psychology, I have been encouraged to develop tools and techinques ..
and undergo my own research to contra the limitations of both
of these fields of Psycho-therapy.
The traditional approach then resorts to Behavioural modifying drugs
to bury issues the behavioralist cannot facilitate the resolution of.
A woman came to see me ..
after years of treatment for rape as a child ..
that was her belief ..
after one session, we established the possibility that
her memory was actually the result of the rape of her mother
which resulted in her conception ..
We were fortunate that her mother chose to join one of the groups ..
and admitted that she was indeed violently raped ..
and that rape resulted in the conception of my client.
The upshot .. my client has lived now for 10 years
without any more recurring memories of rape ..
and cancer in her cervix has spontaneously
gone into remission.
I have given up sucking eggs
the way my grandmother used to ..
