What a drag. This brings to mind (oops, forgot... it's not enlightened
to have a mind) the Borgs in Star Trek and how humans and other
individualistic races were at odds with them. The thought (there I go
again) of being blended into a big mindless, experiencless collective

Nick, I think you're giving the Bible authors a little too much credit.
I personally feel that what is "hidden" in the Bible and all other
sacred books is no more than what we choose to place in them. "The
Secret Bible Code" of uncovering prophesy by using biblical cryptograms
and matching page numbers is an example. A clever cryptographer could
probably construe the Lords Prayer out of the Chicago yellow pages with
haunting mystical connections to the Chinese restaurant listings.

I don't care for schemes.... ordained of old or otherwise.
As many of you probably noticed by now, I, like Susan Carlson, am the
proud owner of a big, honkin' flashin' ego.
The weather's nice and I think I'll give it a coat of wax and take it
out for a spin this afternoon.
