Hi Dogboy,
Sorry for the delay in replying to you...
I registered for the Fire Serpent Tantra course less than 5 months ago.
The course is well presented and complete: there is a lot of information and
it really takes a while to go through it all... I have read about 30 lessons
(about half) but I feel that I've gone too quick on some parts and feel like
coming back to review some of the practices.
I like the "tea room", a message board where students can interact with each
other, give each other support and receive additional advice from Angelique.
It is a key element that creates a kind of community spirit: though our
background and experiences are different, we are walking more or less the
same road. It's nice to have company this way.
The course has already given me a lot and it is certainly worth much more
than what I've paid for it. The core practices have changed my outlook on
life. I am much more balanced. When I joined the course, I made up my mind
to make the
most out of it. Within a few weeks of joining, I noticed some changes that
were very welcome in my life. My wife noticed too. She didn't like Mystress,
she didn't like her name nor her look and she liked even less the fact that
she charged (a small amount) for the course. Yet, when my wife noticed how
quickly I changed, how I looked much happier than I used to be, she
surrendered her misgivings and recognized that the important is the result.
By the way, our tense matrimonial relationship improved a lot too. I applied
Mystress' teachings to how I related to my wife and as a result, not only me
but my wife too changed... There is much more love, peace, freedom and
understanding between the two of us.
I have spoken several times on this list about how Mystress used her Shakti
energy to awaken my Kundalini. Kundalini awakening had been my goal and an
obsession for many years before that. I remember, that day, the burning
energy that I felt along my spine. I also remember the vivid dream I had the
night after, during which I saw how a lot of my Karma was burnt in a big
fire. I saw some symbols in that dream, and since then I've come to an
understanding of the meaning and the significance of those symbols.
Strangely enough, the best thing Angelique gave me during Shaktipat was not
Kundalini awakening. The most valuable thing is that I don't care any more
whether I am awakened or not. This issue has lost its urgency there and
then. Now, there are times when I feel Kundalini energy (though not as
strong as during Shaktipat) and there are times (months) when I don't feel
much. I don't mind. All I know is that all is well. Mystress also helped me
to realize that I was already awakened in the first place, as is everyone.
I don't know that everyone will have a 'classic kundalini awakening' by
taking the course. What I am sure about is that anyone who's dedicated
enough (and probably anyone who's had to pay for the course would be
dedicated enough, lest the money be wasted <grin>) will get precisely what
they need from the course. There is all the information, there is Mystress
Angelique, there are all the classmates and all together it makes a learning
community that will allow, I am certain, any student to find what they are.
