Subject: Religious fears Re: [K-list] Hyper-reactions!
From: Divine Goddess
On 2001/03/05 17:00, Divine Goddess posted thus to the K-list: Fears engendered by religion are the worst, speaking as a fundie who
came out of the radical right jerry falwell type movement...actually,
the sect i was in was more severe even than his group.
I had to deal with my fears alone. No one to help me. I used to have
panic attacks because of how heavily I knew i was going to be judged
because i wasn't winning souls for jesus.
No Fundamentals Anonymous for me. I was on a fast track to a nervous
breakdown and was deeply depressed. I started deprogramming
myself..which took up almost of the years when i was in my 20s.
One day I discovered there was no hell strong enough to hide me from
god's love. One day I heard that god was ever-new joy. one day i was
crying in despair and the love of god overwhelmed me and planted a
seed to grow that began to push out all the programming.
one day my kundalini was awakened and well, 10 years later, here i
am...sigh...
you are in the right place
