The true Self, the I AM
is NOT angry, or sad
nor does it have feelings ..
To label the whole of yourself with "I am angry"
or "I feel angry" is to immediately label, define and
hold on in the moment to a past learning which you
have been taught .. probably by a parent.
Yes, this is subtle,
but it is a very powerful shift in perspective
which can help release "stuckness"
All too often, the expression of the true power of the Self
is labelled as some emotion or other .. and it is the
attachment to the implications of the label which stop
us going deeper to the next level.
To hold on to anger is to stop there, and not see that underneath
the anger is grief or guilt or frustration .. and underneath that
there is something else.
