And when one comes to the and of the joke, how does one go on?
There have been 3 major ( maybe more..3 that I can think of) "takes"
on this realization. Most people seem to fall into one of them.
1. Damn! What crap! We must end this process then. ( Get off the
wheel). ( Wheel being another paradigm) but the gist being, Kill It!
And let the universe disintigrate and have some peace. ( known in
some circles as the Black schoool of thought. Not to be confused
with "Black brothers"or "evil" etc.. someone picked a color scheme
for thse beliefs).
2. Yes that means we're free! Life is a game. Once you realize the
joke, you can partake in what you will at will and make the most of
it. ( A sub category of this is: Well, We'll pretend something
matters and give ourselves a mission to "help mankind" or "prevent
the evil forces" etc). ( Known in some circles as the White school
of thought).
3. Well, thats the way it is. Chop wood. Carry Water. (known in
some circles as the yellow school of thought.)
Personally I couldnt help but fall into a deep depression, having
formerly thought that "I" actually had something "I" was suppposed to
do here. Little did the "I" know that we simply toss "experience'
into a big bin at the end and thats that.
Interested to hear how others deal.
