I've got a T-shirt from my battle with that whole concept. :-) Haven't burnt it tho...mainly a reminder now when I'm tempted to put the armor on and draw the claws. It took me a long time to figure out that surrender doesn't equal victimhood. Victimhood is a personal choice. And despite Mystress' constant barrage of "surrender" reminders it was a really simple thing that got through...no windows shaking, no fighting. Just a beautiful song by a wonderful band..."beautiful day" by U2. :)
I wonder about saying that...have this picture in my head of Mystress banging her head against a wall saying "A SONG?!?!?" Ah well...that is a good laugh for now... ;)
