At the end of all seeking,
the seeker is the one sought.
What I found out was that, the moment
I gave up the active seeking, there was
nothing for me to find .. what I was looking
for was already there ..
The definition I use for Enlightenment is
"Enlightenment is the bringing to the light of
awakened consciousness, all of those things
which are down there in the subconscious
and unconscious, running me .. without my
even being aware that they were there"
One of my teachers taught me
to give up trying to learn anything ..
The moment I did that, I discovered why I always
knew who was going to phone
me even before it rang ...
Now I understand that,
If I have a question, it is because there is some
part of me that doesn't want to accept (or wants
to deny) the answer I already know ..
and in that denial, I am keeping the answer
unconscious, and myself "unenlightened"
