Subject: [K-list] Surrender
From: Christopher Wynter
On 2001/02/23 13:20, Christopher Wynter posted thus to the K-list: For those of an Anglo American ethnicity,
the act of surrender is almost impossible ...
Most of us have, within our ancestors, some
soldier or fighter for whom the concept of
surrender was both dishonourable and
unthinkable ..
to many, death was preferable to
the victimhood of that sacrifice.
The vibration of this word is alive and well
within the cells of the physical body, and
although the mind may understand the
greater spiritual significance of this term,
for the body which carries memories of the
warrior, the unconscious memories triggered
realise this as an abhorrent state ..
This is one of those words which will separate
the mind from the body, producing mind chatter
to which the body recoils .. and for many, will
stand in the way of "self realisation" until
the memories of the genetic warrior have been
embraced with compassion.
