Yeah, I was working on you a bit while writing, often that kind of stuff
is time-travelled to a moment when you will be receptive.

Yea, I think so too... but I have learned to accept rejection as a
navigation system.. natural selection in action. I have more than enough on
my plate, already so really, they did me a favor. Helping my wayward ADD
brain to stay focused on priorities. :)

Makes good sense.. Victim hood is a major issue hampering Native
healing and recovery, and now you are better equipped to provide the people
you work with, other options.
The other aspect I mentioned, about suicide, relates to difficulty
adapting because of the repercussions of ancestor worship. I will get back
to you, to explain that dynamic in more detail, later. It's quite a story
and today I have to stay focused on the redesign of my pro-healer pages.
There are times when I have seen that one aspect of the Mansion
Project would be Native rehabilitation. I have an understanding of how the
lost Native "coming of age" rituals were actually a kind of ego death,
which is part of why the original Native consciousness was so different
from the mind set of the European conquerors. I have much experience in
leading people through ego-death and would love to work with the Native
Elders in manifesting a program to help.. and access some of that
reparation $$ to help manifest the Mansion Project. Win/win. The money does
not help heal the wounds unless a way can be found to apply it to funding a
healing process that will work.. and it takes a Shamanic understanding of
white and Native culture, to know what is needed.
But, I have no idea how to approach them about it without seeming like
another opportunistic white chick. Know what I mean? I am of both worlds..
a white woman who was initiated as a Shaman by an ancient Mexican rain
God.. but I think if it is to Be, I will need a Native person to be the
liaison for the negotiations.
