The biggest issue within Western Spirituality, an issue created
by religious dogma down through the ages, is the issue of sexuality.
Krishnamurti once wrote
"the biggest problem people have with sex
is that they make sex a problem"
Sexuality, as we tend to label it, is the symptomatic expression of our
intrinsic beingness - our lifeforce.
The advent of Eastern "Spiritual Teachings".. the teachings of Tantra and
Kundalini. into the Western Spiritual Consciousness has seen the rise of
sexual issues in a confrontational manner - particularly as the Western
mind, through which most of the Eastern Texts are translated, because
of its genetic conditioning in religious dogma , has unknowingly created
many of the issues of sexuality for the follower and reader.
This has not been helped by a number of the "Eastern Gurus", who,
seeking power and prestige for themselves, have sought to capitalise
on this situation.
I will go into this situation further shortly as I get time to write it ..
but what people here need to know is that ..
As the energy of wholeness, your lifeforce, Kundalini .. starts to move
from the base upward through the body, it moves through the sacral
chakra .. which is where all issues of relationship with other are stored.
The movement here is towards finding the perfect merging of the
< male .. female > within the individuality of each person.
For the male, this energy takes on female form. For the female, the
energy can take male form .. in both the beauty and the horror ...
These are perceptual judgements based on genetic conditioning.
They are past patterns coming up for release. In fact, every sexual
issue held within your genetic line .. every unconscious or repressed
sexual belief .. will come up to the surface.
These issues can present themselves in the expression of
hetero-sexuality, trans-sexuality and homo-sexuality ..
and so all of the judgements, all of the fears start to come up as well.
The best thing any can do is to "enjoy the fantasy ride"
The union being sought is the androgyne within ..
neither male nor female
but the perfect union of both ..
which, when achieved, will find its expression in relationships with
others as a relationship without covert need.
This lifeforce has been symbolised as the serpent ..
and this vitality of our individuality and our beingness has been
sentenced in the very first book of the Christian Bible .. by "God"
to an eternity of
"forever crawling on its belly - the lowest of the low"
This serpent is the rainbow dreaming of the most ancient culture
and civilisation on this planet .. a civilisation that walks this earth
in full harmony within itself and with nature.
It is not without reason that the sacral centre is the realm of water
and the realm of the emotions.
Emotion, as it is experienced, is the energy of the serpent moving
through all relationship issues ..
above all, human's separation from its intrinsic nature.
