Subject: [K-list] Universal Consciousness

There are tears as I write this.

Today I wrote and posted the piece on the crucifixion
follow-up at 12.30 pm Local Time.

I have just got off the telephone with one of my group
who works in a nursing home for the dying, run by a
Christian based religious organisation,
 here in Tasmania ..

I'll call her J.

For the last few months, J has been spending some
time with a dementia patient, who, to the rest of the
nursing staff, has been totally incoherent.

But, with J, this man has been able to carry on a fully
coherent conversation. One of the things he enjoyed
was walking out in the garden, shuffling his bare feet
in the dirt of the garden beds.

His conversation with J has been based on

 "I want to go home ..
 but I'm afraid that I won't get it right".

J has been working with him on what he meant about
"getting it right". It was only yesterday, he said the same
thing to her.

Today, J arrived at work at 12.40 pm not knowing
anything about what I had written or posted to the list.

Her friend was waiting for her ..
 "Do you want to go walk in the garden .."

"Yes," he replied ..
 "and there is something I want to give you"

They walked .. he pointed out some of the women in the
garden and said how they had lost so much in their lives ..

 that so much had been taken from them
  in the course of their lives ..

and then he turned and,
 looking J straight in the eye said ..

  "Now I can go home"

Only when I had read the posts back to J on the 'phone
did she fully understand what had happened.

This is not the first time that a dementia patient
(so called) has confirmed to J something that has been
said or written by me in the course of this work ..

There have been times, too, when children of some of
my own list members have quoted my words to their
mother .. even before I have posted them to my list ..

The innocence of the child revisited in old age,
once more in tune with Universal Consciousness
 in the moments before death ..

What has happened
 in the years in between ...
and what is the burden
 we place on our children ..
