   I think you are right that fear of retarding awakening is the main
essence of the doubts entertained by both of us but I think you are also
right in pointing out that regardless of the circumstances the experience of
"Who I am" is possible. As a parallel death does not wait for circumstances
that are ideal to us in this illusion we call life. It may happen while we
are peacefully asleep or enjoying some vigorus pursuit and does it really
matter? I can also echo the sexual situation as I had got use to being
virtually celibate before Anne awakened me in this respect.
 What I have found though is that if I stop short of ejaculation using the
breathing and muscle techniques recomended in "Taoist secrets of Love
Cultivating Male Sexual Energy" book by Mantak Chia, then start again and
stop once again before ejaculation then I can satisfy my new love and
actually feel energised. If I fall over the precipice then I have the same
loss of sensation of being that you spoke of. The book is excellent and may
be right in maintaining that such control of senses and energy will lead to
a healthy long life and bring about the experience of union with God. I have
not experienced male multy or full body organism as the author maintains
possible I believe in time I will, my partner allready does naturally with
out trying.
In my case the die is cast and I go happily to my future a day at a time.
