The origins of this have been traced so far to archaleological
digs of both the Old Kingdom of Egypt and before that
to the Sumerial civilisation pre 6000BC

In the Sumerian Digs, artefacts similar to the Yoni and the Lignum
have been found together with cuniform illustrations which are
finding translation as the earliest records of what we now know
as Tantra .. where it was expressed as the Union of the male
and Female .. not as the sexual Tantra of today .. but as a
path of what could be termed "Conjugate Metamorphosis"

The most early records of Tibetan Tantra closely follow
the apparent essence of the Sumerian Tantra ..

There are other parallels within other ancient spiritualities which
I have found follow the same theme .. and the deeper meanings
of alchemy .. if you read the metaphors hidden in the writings,
they are not a "creation of gold" but a form of Tantrika or Yogic
Union.

There are always many ways of reading the metaphors encoded
in the old writings .. and when one moves through the preconceptions
of what we have been taught is the way the scholars think it is,
then there are deeper meanings to be found.

This is a subject on which I have done a lot of very deep research
as it is an integral part of my work .. even to the point of following
some of the genetic research material which investigated and reported
that X and Y chromosomes appear to be mutations of an autosome
(non sexually determinant) .. and that the Female chromosome is in
the process of totally repressing the male .. a pattern which has been
becoming more apparent recently.
