There is a process in alchemy (not gold making, but the spiritual
interpretation that's gaining wide popularity lately) that talks about
male/female joining in one body in the journey to awakening.

These things concerning the joining of male/female for the purpose of our
awakening journey, I believe with my whole being to be true. My spontaneous
awakening began in a VERY sexual way, out of nowhere, as if I were being
attacked ...but WITHIN myself. I could feel the joining as if it were two
people making love inside my body and mind. And the bonus was I was able to
feel what it was like from BOTH perspectives. I know very little about the
practice of what today is termed "alchemy" but it seems a good theory or
tool for comparing what it is like to experience the actual joining
within.After all.....I may not have started as lead, but I now certainly
feel something akin to gold at times. :))
This has been quite an experience for someone with no previous knowledge or
contact with what is to be considered Eastern philosophies.Words and
pictures in my mind put to paper with no understanding, body and hand
movements that were, if nothing, frightening.....but with it all a feeling
of peace and "meaning". The education was my responsability, I was given the
outline.....the rest was up to me.I have slacked some as the blissful
feelings subsided, but I know it is time.I continue to lurk on the list as I
gain info and to look at all possible theories without choosing sides. I
thank you all for your continuing discussions of thoughts, feelings and
experiences.
