Dear Sylvia,

I too have spent most of my life not wanting to be here, feeling out of place with the violence and cruelty of this world.... man's inhumanity to man and the entire planet. And yet I can also see the beauty in people and in all things, the Spirit beneath the surface of all things and feel such a sad regretful love and compassion for all of us. How to manifest spirit in this world? It is a question I have also asked. And my own answer to myself is to just be. Words spoken have no effect, but the energy given off by our own inner being affects all those around us. The Spirit tries to work through humanity but is hindered it at every turn by man's refusal to cooperate with the will of Spirit. It has been and will be the downfall of mankind.... unless humanity can change and seek the Light of Oneness as opposed to seeking the things of ego. Seeking Light brings to the surface all those traits of Spirit that are truly ours...love, compassion, honesty, peace. Seeking those things of the ego leads to a world just as we see it now. It is the old Garden of Eden story where man chose to worship his own mind/senses rather than seek Light of God. And still humanity is on the wrong path.
