Well, :)) you are not alone here! I spent most of my life being rather
contemptuous of religion and New Age stuff. I'm still trying to come to
terms with it to some extent. The polls are an obvious symptom of this.
LOL. But what I have discovered was that it really doesn't matter. I'll
hear something off the wall and say "that's interesting" and keep it handy
until I find out more information. I certainly accept a good deal more,
(levitation, bilocation, stuff like that) that the scientific community
hasn't quite come to terms with yet but that there is enough credible
evidence to accept. Personally I've come to realize that reason and faith
don't have to be *reconciled,* and that I can live quite comfortably and
joyfully with a rather schizophrenic belief system.
