Title: Out of Body Experience, Chakra and Spinal Vibrations,
Immersion in a Benevolent Light
The title explains my experiences. For many years I practiced Yoga
exercises, relaxation, meditation, and gazing at the space between the
eyebrows. Even while walking around I could see a bright light like the sun
when I looked there even briefly.
The out of body experience started with a vibration in the neck area
followed by a vibration like a fine tuned motor in the head accompanied by a
tightness on the top of the head, like a hat that was too tight. It felt
more like an iron cap. The next night while lying on my bed doing relaxation
and breathing before going to sleep a light appeared in the corner ceiling
of the room. Something leaped out of my body and merged with that sphere of
Light. Before merging I looked down to see my body lying on the bed beside
my husband. In that instant I realized that who I really am can exist
outside the body. The part that left is my real self. Then I was in the
Light communicating telepathically with a benevolent Being that showed me
all things and answered all my questions. The Being was simply Light and we
seemed to merge as one.
I came to realize that there is no time, and that existence as we know it is
an illusion, a dream, like a movie on a screen. I was shown the future and
saw my small children grown up. I was asked if I felt I had to return. I
said "no" and had no intention of returning. The sense of freedom,
knowledge, joy, and love are indescribable. I was shown scenes of others
suffering in this existence because of their lack of knowledge of what is
higher. An overwhelming wave of compassion made me want to tell others that
there is something beyond this dream of life and that they need not ever
fear. The thought of wanting to help others brought me back to my body. I
was not pleased to return.
This is similar to a near death experience but I did not die to have this
experience. I returned from the experience with heightened mental awareness
and sensitivity, and some psychic gifts. I have felt a vibration like an
electric current racing up and down my spine from bottom to top in
incredibly rapid succession over twenty times in less than a minute. Moving
or thinking stops it. The sensation was very pleasant and produced a sense
of peace and joy. This happened last Christmas after feeling a sense of
adoration and gratitude for Jesus and the gift of understanding he tried to
give others. I reverence all higher Beings of all religions, and the attempt
inherent in all religions to raise the evolutionary energy in humanity. I
live constantly with the thought of Light, or God. It is always in my mind
even when I am occupied with other things.
Why am I writing this? It has come to a time when I feel I must make an
effort to strive for a wider consciousness. Having read accounts of the
suffering that some have experienced when the kundalini power is fully
unleashed, I am reluctant to delve too deeply in meditation and risk this
torrent. So far it has been pleasant and never something to fear. I have
read the account of Gopi Krishna! I suppose I will trust in the goodness of
Light and delve into this on the basis of that trust.
I know others have experiences similar to mine. Any advice ?
