This is the God Chant, written by Ian Corrigan. The last line as he
wrote it was:
"Corn and grain, corn and grain/
All that falls shall rise again."
(The Folk Process is alive and well in Canada!)
You probably know Corrigan's Goddess Chant, designed to blend with the
God Chant:
We all come from the Goddess/
And to Her we shall return/
Like a drop of rain/
Flowing to the ocean.
[A nice little chant, although some Pagans have noted that it tends to
invoke a downpour when performed...]
Corrigan also has a long Yule Song that I like. The last stanza goes:
Now folk do meet upon that Darkest Night/
When King Sol's time is short in Winter's sky/
They burn the balefires on the barrows height/
And bid the spirit of Long Night to fly/
In holy circle do we meet/
At Yuletide's season, days are fleet/
But tis the new Sun that we greet/
Whose birth is drawing nigh!

Nice. That one is new to me. Know who wrote it?
[Kalipadma puts on his jester's cap, tunes his air-guitar, and sings:]
Oh, I come from Mount Kailasa
With Parvati on my knee
And I'm going to Benares
My devotees for to see
Oh, Ma Ganga! Now don't you cry for me
Because I can't dance tandava
With Parvati on my knee.

An incredible Solstice, and it promises to be an energy-packed Christmas,
with a partial Solar eclipse at 12:22 PM, EST. A good time to meditate,
chant mantras... and folks with aspects to 4 degrees Capricorn should be
open to a learning experience (oh, no! not another learning experience!).
Best witches of the Season,
