 You can love them, even if you do not agree with them. You can love
them, even if they do not approve of you. You can love them, even if they
reject you. Whether their love is unconditional, is not as important, as
whether *your* love is unconditional.

True individuation and maturity happens when we realize our parents are
human, fallible.. and decide to love them for who they are, even if it is
not who we want them to be.

 I heard something beautiful on the TV the other night, a line from the
movie "The Crow":
  "The name of God is "Mother", in the hearts of all children."
   As above, so below..
