Subject: [K-list] Foodstuff and Genetic Engineering

Dear Augustin,

I will probably get into hot water with my statement about genetic
engineering.

I wrote:

Just to make it more clear, when Adam and Eve did their discoveries of
agriculture and husbandry in their Edenian garden, their work was not
appreciated by the powers that were. The story as written in the bible
(Genesis) is very confused and a mix up of various versions about an
important episode in the development of humankind.
(There are parallel Sumerian stories: Enlil, Enki, Adapa)
Through akashic memory I retrieved what happened. Adam and Eve where
inventors, genetic engineers almost, so to say, taking 'culture' to a
new level, away from the control of the 'cult'... and creating freedom
and independence through 'cultivation'. (Something like growing your own
pot, which b.t.w. I don't do, as I don't smoke,etc.) No wonder our early
ancestors ran into problems with the old power structures. Even their
sons got into a murderous fight about this (Cain and Abel).

My idea is that genetic engineering when balanced by appropriate control
mechanisms is more than OK. We cannot stop it and should not stop it but
we can streamline it through the normal checks and balances of opposing
pressure and lobby groups. I do not condone the lobby groups, I do not
condone the anti-'genetic engineering' groups . Together they form the
checks and balances that our good earth 'Gaia' allows.
Expansive cosmic pressure that drives scientific expansionism at the
moment will always be balanced by constrictive cosmic pressure
preventing cosmic explosion. (Later on in the evolution of our universe
it will be the other way around, constrictive scientific endeavours will
be prevented by expansive control mechanisms) It is the Vishnu / Shiva
thing. Us humans tend to politicise it, that was Enki and Enlil's
problem, also Yahweh and Adonai's (?) If I am not mistaken. 'God' (Enki)
and the 'Lord-God' (Enlil) are two distinct figures, the political
vengeful 'Lord-God' only appears after Genesis II 4.

You wondered if I meant that:

Human's are already a genetically modified species... unless us humans
are willing to give up the contents of our brain boxes (presumably the
good kind of cholesterol) we will be doing genetic fiddling... am afraid
it is a species thing... It makes us so speci-al. :-)

Anyway Augustin, you are from Taiwan, the Republic of China. I taught
and met some ppl. from there while I was in Hong Kong. (They were from a
company called 'Crystal Palace'), wonderful people. Met some Taiwanese
here in Victoria, had them on my Aura / Chakra machine as well... How
much old culture is there still left and alive in Taiwan, clairvoyantly
I saw some beautiful ancesters of the people I did readings for.
