Subject: [K-list] the "Dune" miniseries begins tonight

Frank Herbert's Hugo and Nebula award winning novel "Dune" is considered by
many to be the best science-fiction novel of all-time... it is a magical
world on a desert planet which is full of kundalini symbolism...

there are three two-hour segments in this miniseries that is being shown on
the Sci-fi Channel... the first part is shown tonight at 9 p.m., 11 p.m. and
1 AM (EST)... part two will be shown on Monday night, and the conclusion
will be shown on Tuesday...

there was a movie version made several years ago that didn't quite capture
the magic of the novel... i hope that these producers have learned from that
and get the job done right... but i will definitely be watching, and am very
excited about this event, so i wanted to let any like-minded folks out there
know about it...
