GENEROSITY OF MIND AND HEART - with Lama Tsering

Must we journey to the mountaintop or
retreat to the cave to reach true
enlightenment? Lama Tsering Everest, an
American and Tibetan Buddhist
teacher, carries the distinction of
developing her practice while living at home
raising her son. "Life is the retreat,
life is the practice." Tsering speaks eloquently
about the nature of mind, karma, and most
importantly, generosity: "No matter
how hard you try, you can't keep it, so
when you have it, give it." But "giving it
away" can be more mysterious than you
thought - listen and discover what true
generosity of spirit means from a woman
who speaks her wisdom with clarity,
humor, and simplicity. Tsering is
currently the resident lama at Odsal Ling in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
