It remains to be seen.... however, the best that we can do now is to say that
the instruments we have are too crude to show one way or the other ... it is
purely irrational (although possibly true) to say for a fact that such either
*is* or *is not* the case (from a scientific point of view). The lack of
data cannot prove the existence or nonexistence of a thing. Anything else is
jumping to conclusions. And perceptions, however stunning they may be (I've
had a few myself) may be only one aspect......
