Dear Friends
I have a good friend staying with me at the moment.
Uffe has been studying and singlemindedly following his path to God for many
years.
He quotes mainly Ramana Maharshi to me and of course the Gita.
He feels that celebicy is extremely important and this isa big obstacle as I
am in a new relation ship and dont feel that it would be particularly
spiritual to force celebcy on my lady friend.
He feels that Kundalini is of the mind as the great masters dont talk of it.
(Have any of the "real" greats spoken in favour of it?? )
and therefore it is just another distraction of mind
I would appreciate your comment
Uffe teaches I listen. I dissagree we talk some more I agree.
The thing is I know he is talking about ultimate truth and is exactly
correct in what he says. I also believe he has had some Divine guidence. He
is clear that he would not have taken the trouble to come and see me if he
was not guided to come and he has never been guided to anyone before. He
knows that I am capable of full understanding his message and he is just the
messenger or so he genuinely believes.
I have not seen him in four years and shared a space with him then on Sai
Baba's Ashram. No communication since that time.
I believe that I am looked after by a rising Kundalini and he mantains NO
that is just more mind stuff and that the real Truth can only be revealed
through mind control.
First step I agree with is that We are not dependent on others for hapiness
or anything else. Others are not to blame for anything in our lives.
The reason for birth is to get the aswer to the question Who am I?
again I am in complete agreement.
The question is answered by the statement not this not this to everything
that is not ultimate Self ie God.
Mind creates Maya which is illusion anything which is illusion is not God.
God is consistent and allways present. Maya this world people in it are
allways changing. ( it all dissapears in sleep)
The only way to be Truth is to control the mind so completely to give up but
not give in so that ego mind dies and God is revealed.
All pleasures are of the mind though there are duties which are plesant ie
work for God raising children etc .
So where we are not completely in agreement.
is.
Because the pleasure of sex and many other things ( Ironbru chocolate spring
to mind )is not from duty but of the mind. So as long as we pander to the
mind therfore controled by pleasure we keep coming back to this world for
more of the same. Many are called but few are chosen etc.
When we control the mind by abstinence God sees we are serious and steps in
and we change permanently through His grace. At that we receive ever new
bliss The peace that passes all understanding and therfore realise we are
God literallily and do not come here ever again unless we chose to to help
others on their path though who is there to help all are one.
Looking for truth at some point the searcher and that searched for become
One there is only the One.
Now my contention is that Kundalini will bring me to this
Uffe says yes Kundalini awakens but only when mind has gone.
I am concerned that the second chakra shutdown of its own accord and that I
now rarely think of sex except when I am with my female. This seems in line
with
what Uffe is trying to explain to me.
Uffe also says that when truly you are not attached or have need for sex
chocolate or anything else When there is no mind driven pleasure then you
are free of desire and can therfore have chocolate sex or whatever but you
no longer have a need for it etc.
So there you have it answers on a plain postcard please smiling.
