True.
Actually, Wim, you and I and others here may have more in common than it
may seem from our posts. We all came here from different backgrounds and
were awakened by different catalysts. The one thing we have in common is
that we broke through to the Spirit and took wing to a new life (after
some growing pains... in my case, at least) and a whole new view of the
universe. In that Sting song, the verse that goes, "we are spirits in
the material world" has a much stronger meaning now.
Sometimes I like to throw a little humor or even some devil's avocation
in the mix from time to time. This could be for balance, but sometimes
it's an emotional, knee jerk reaction based on something I might have
brushed up against that day. If it's ever at the expense of you, David
or anybody else, please forgive me.

To smell the fresh orange pulp.
To pop the seeds in the over for crispy snack.
To place a candle inside and set it out on my old wooden fence while
fallen leaves blow by in the Autumn breeze.
To let it beam down on passing youngsters as they hurry through a
magical childhood.

Even if you did, it wouldn't phase me one way or the other. The only
buttons I have are with crack and heroin. Even if that was the case with
someone on the list, I would not make a value judgment, but I would be
very concerned.

It means expurlatives in general (any non letter characters followed by
an exclamation point). I think it might have originated in comic strips?
I wish I had the ability to not be affected by stuff around me.
Yesterday, for example, I was sitting at a sidewalk cafe on Vine when a
taxi driver stopped in front of me, honked his horn and started
violently yelling at a guy who unintentionally blocking his way. I got
sucked right into it and wanted to stick up for the fellow who was being
verbally assaulted. Soon I felt physically drained and lousy. Not a
healthy thing. I'm usually very calm centered and detached, but
sometimes I'm just an empath up for grabs.
