Angela,

I have had some of the same experiences and I, too, decided to let it
ride...the k roller coaster....wooo weeeeeee...and enjoy the
phenomenon.

It took me awhile before I could relax and trust but sometimes I even
put my hands up in the air when going doing the scarier parts of the
ride now. :)

I think what served me best was to become fascinated with the whole
process and think of my self is some kind of grand science
experiement :D or a character in some fantastic movie. Some of the
things that have happened to me, if they were to show up in some
movie, it would cause many sci-fi fans to shake their heads and say.
"no way!" I laugh and say 'WAY!'

Maybe that's one of the reasons it has been a more easier path for
me.
I laugh about it alot and can find the absurd in it even when it
hurts. It is the best coping mechanism for me ...laughing and looking
for joy in every circumstance.
