 Ascended people really do vanish, but we don't go to some ethereal
place the TCP describes. The author had no personal experience of ascension
so he got inventive.
 I vanish often. Recently I went to a pagan event, and I wondered why
none of my friends were acknowledging my presence.. I wondered if I'd done
something to piss them off so they were ignoring me.. finally I figgered
out that my vibe was too high and I'd vanished... so I opened to absorbing
some Karma to bring my vibe down so that I would be present enough to
socialize... and people I knew started saying hello.. :)
 When I'm invisible I'm in a higher dimension, but the world is still
the world. Some things look different, everything seems to be made of tiny
dancing colored dots and there are no straight lines...

INVISIBLE PEOPLE
Since 1994, American paranormalist Donna Higbee has been investigating the
alleged ability of people to become involuntarily invisible. Terming it
ISHI (Involuntary Spontaneous Human Invisibility), she has amassed many
accounts. One such case featured a woman called Melanie from California,
who became invisible while sitting on her own living room sofa. For the
next ten minutes, her husband vainly looked for her all through their
house, until she suddenly became visible again.
