Here at Samye Ling (home for the spiritually insane)
I have been playing hard. This morning not one of the
so called sangha (community of monks and nuns) turned up
for Tara puga (prayers) Tara is green and a goddess.
Well at 6AM people think it a bit early to play drums and ring bells
- not so Lobsters. We will see what happens tomorrow . . .

I have taken to sleeping through the one hour meditation sessions
as I find this a good time to snooze.

The peacocks (we have two white peacocks) and a few normal ones
come to visit as do the wild birds and rabbits which are well fed by
the soft hearted buddhists who think food should be shared . . .
I have been throwing mine at the birds which they seem to think is a game .
. .
Yesterday I managed to solve the problem of how to silence a mouse
(too loud clicks at night)
Use it under a blanket (Microsoft had no useful solution)

Lilies flower in the pond. Copper roofs of temple, stupa and shrines glisten
here and there.
Bald headed monks and Tibetans wander around being holy.

I'm off to chant the 100 syllable mantra - why?
