Hi Horia, Kaiki, Cherian.
Very interesting stuff. Thanks so much for bringing this up. Seems to
me the concept of resonance is related to the shaktipat discussion we
were having last week, and the concerns that can arise when energy is
flying about through the ethers, affecting whoever is receptive.
It is a mystery, it seems, the transmission of divine energy. Shakti
has a mind of her own for sure. The question is, is it up to us to
consciosuly increase her (shaktipat) or consciously quell her, if
that is possible? As Cherian points out, there can be times when
resonance does not seem appropriate. What do we do?
In my background in the TM tradition, there is a phenomenon
called "super radiance" which is produced using certain group
meditation techniques which have been in use for some 25 years. The
term is self explanatory, and it is a global phenomenon. Other
traditions have similar programs aimed at raising world
consciousness, so it is no coincidence that we are all running into
resonance situations more and more. We live in a world where energy
realtionships are far more prevalent than in the past. It is
wonderful, our entry into the realms of infinite bliss. But
occasionally, weird things happen, mainly due to obstructions being
released and some confusion occurring when that happens, like having
your boss come on to you when she shouldn't. :-)
I think there are ways to tone down resonance when it is not
something you want to be happening. In fact, It think it is possible
to become "spiritually invisible" to those around you, if you desire
it. The case of Christ before the court of Pilot is one such example.
Had he been in full radiance, would he have been crucified? Who
knows? But anyway, I do know it is possible to pull the energy in
and become virtually unnoticed from an energy standpoint. At other
times the energy can be projected with great power when needed. I
used such methods in he corporate world for years. Fortunately I am
out of that now, and do not have to consciously moderate the energy
as I did in the past. Perhaps this is why I get a little concerned
when people talk about shaktipat, because I know personal will can be
used, and we all know the story of the scorcer's apprentice. It all
is part of the overall scheme of things, so who is to say what ought
to be happening or not? Not me. But keep in mind that we each bear
the karma for what we project energywise, just as we do with our
physical actions, so it is good to be aware of how we influence
others in the subtle realms, and learn to conduct ourselves
accordingly. Welcome to the world of energy resonance! :-)
