Hi there,

Another interesting point. Saktipat is not given really, it is just
a kick-start, a yantra, a trigger, a placebo, to one's own mind.
Saying one doesn't control the K is also a misunderstanding at the
level of lower mind. The Higher Mind is controlling K, depending on
the attributes and developement of the lower ego personality.

Only a truly realised guru can give saktipat, a mere handful on the
planet. The other is a burst of energy infusion, and hypnotic thought
suggestion, to aid the pupil on her way.

This has been my experience anyway. How to tell a true guru. Well I
suppose a clean lifestyle with no desires at all!
