Harsha,

I was wondering where the wise and compassionate Harsha voice was in
this exchange. Thank goodness you showed up because the devouring
Kali Ma was readying to manifest. Sigh...reading your words she was
appeased and quieted.

It is my own history of fundamentalism, knowing its cruelty, that
brings Her out. A newbie, is a newbie, is a newbie now matter their
posings in their languqage.

Again, I remember the truism, we teach what we most need to know.
Posing as an expert on resonance I would expect a corresponding
expertise on the sensitivities and resonances of a list environment
from the expert.

I recently learned a something about Kali that I didnt see in a lot
of the texts I read about Her regarding Her most famous
depiction...standing on Shiva, devouring His guts, while agressively
having intercourse with Him.

I finally saw, maybe it was always there, that Shiva had offered
Himself to Kali, to appease Her bloodlust and to keep Her from
destroying all living things. Funny how the male saviour as sacrifice
keeps showing up in religions.
