Wow - what a response - I will tabulate this weekend. You all have reminded
me of so many other books I read as a youth - the Mrs. PiggleWiggles, Dunes.
Wrinkle in Time, Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe, Susan Cooper's books
(greenwitch, grey king, over sea/under stone, etc) and many others.
I appreciate the response - namaste all.
i also appreciate the folks who commented on the death-fear. it always
struck me in the heart area too, though I was confused and thought it only
in my mind.

My favorite reading as a kid was the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle series of books.
I've always been captivated by the magic in everyday life. Now that I think
of it, some of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's cures are a lot like kundalini! Holly
