Nick mate,
I totally relate to your reference regarding Jane...
..She and I met at a party once. I got a bit drunk, saw her moving around
the room, flirting, having an effect on everyone she happened to meet. At
that moment I had to have her. She just looked so attractive (although some
found her so repulsive they threw up). Well we got got it on, as you do, and
I found she could be taken a lot of ways. She showed me so many sides to her
personality, (which I found out later on down the line, that it was my own
personality, funny that!).
What can I say, those first few months were great, she even introduced me to
some of her friends, who I still manage to visit now and again. It was all
lovey dovey tingly stuff, a lot of giggles, the you show me yours and I'll
show you mine kind of stuff. But then when things started getting serious,
and deeper issues began to surface, our relationship ran into power issues.
We would very often run out of munchies and the laughs had gone from the
relationship. At first we blamed it on the fact that she was from the plants
and I the animals. It dragged on, and on, and on. Soon we had forgotten who
we were. There was nothing left to reflect except the munchies.
We parted for a while, mainly due to financial difficulties of seeing each
other. Then we reunited and it was like old times. Fantastic, a bunch of
laughs. But it did not last long. Again it dragged on. We would never go
out. This whole process repeated itself a number of times. I remember one
time when we sat alone and I saw a picture of a dragon eating its own tail.
Well that thought has just come full circle, and I understand that we made a
commitment all those years ago, to learn from each other, and we did. But we
did not honour our commitment, it became stagnent. Our relationship was
based on those original conditions of our meeting, the party atmosphere and
the yellow wallpaper.
Well, what can I say we came to an agreement last night...
