I get the chest zaps too. It used to freak me out, even a few weeks ago,
but I am realy letting go of the fear these days. This is the realization I
came to:
Nick, your K is going apeshit. It is jolting a blockage in your heart
chakra, also maybe your solar plexus chakra. Let it work through you, and
don't be afraid. It may feel funny, but it is actually good for you! And,
think of the worst case scenario: You die. You return to your energy
awareness, and you choose to reincarnate if you'd like to, to continue your
work as a "bodhisattva."
For me, it was all about coming to terms with my death, my physical death.
I was very stuck on this for years, mainly because of my father's death when
I was 3 I think.
Only very recently have I really started to get over "The Fear." My mentor
helped a lot -- he had a near death experience when he was ten. He shared a
little about it with me recently. He told me a little bit about what
happened, and told me how he no longer has any fear at ALL of dying. Just
him telling me about this helped give me a push. And you know what? The
chest pains are much less frequent now, and when I do get them, much less
intense.
Another thing -- I do smoke a certain medicinal herb who goes by the
nickname of Mary. When I smoke too much, and hold a large hit in my lungs
for too long, the pains come. But trust me, it's not just lung pains from
holding in the smoke, it's simply triggering too much energy around my heart
and solar plexus. So... I stopped taking such big hits! Duh, brilliant guy
I am, it took me a few years to figure that one out! ;)
